    Coro is a software and data services brand developed by Bain & Company’s B2B Commercial Excellence practice to address enterprises' core go-to-market challenges with integrated digital tools and data services. We combine the fast pace and innovation of a startup with unique access to industry expertise honed in our GTM and growth strategy practices. This expertise, combined with the projects we lead for our clients, is key to accelerated ideation, development, and feature prioritization for our solutions.

    Thierry Depeyrot

    Chief Executive Officer

    Thierry Depeyrot is the Chief Executive Officer and general manager of our Coro business unit, based in Silicon Valley. In this capacity, he leads the growth of Coro product suite, expanding the Coro team and accelerating the underlying technology development, with the goal of enabling every B2B go-to-market organization to improve their performance.

    Throughout his tenure at Bain, Thierry has honed wide-ranging growth expertise, focusing predominantly on technology companies and especially on software. He has advised public and private clients across various topics at the intersection of product strategy and go-to-market (GTM) excellence, such as growth acceleration, pricing strategy, GTM redesign, and transition to cloud/SaaS.

    In addition to leading the Coro business unit, Thierry is the global program director for professional standards. Thierry is also involved in Bain Bay Area’s DE&I initiatives.

    Prior to Bain, Thierry developed a particularly deep knowledge of crisis management, project turnaround, and accelerated growth, with an established record of both building and rebuilding teams, as well as bringing projects back on track. Before joining the firm in 2012, he led the memory and standard cell library business unit at Dolphin Design. He also held diverse general manager positions at Faurecia Interior Systems and SAS Automotive.

    Thierry holds a degree in management and engineering from the Ecole des Mines in France.

    Simon Kloeckner

    Simon Kloeckner is the Chief Operating Officer of our Coro business unit, and a member of Bain’s Commercial Excellence practice. He is based in Boston. In this capacity, he leads the delivery and customer success teams of the Coro product suite that are delivering sustained value for our B2B go-to-market (GTM) organization clients. He is also responsible for overall Coro business operations.

    While at Bain, Simon has focused predominantly on growth-related topics, as well as overall large-scale transformations and turnarounds. He has advised clients on a wide-range of Commercial Excellence topics, such as customer segmentation, growth acceleration, GTM redesign, GTM execution and Sales Play System, and incentive compensation design. In addition to his role in Coro leadership, he serves as the business owner for Expert Consultant and Senior Manager hiring in Coro and the Commercial Excellence practice.

    Prior to Bain, Simon worked in Strategy and Business Management at Morgan Stanley. Simon holds a BA from Williams College, and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

    Max Malacari, Ph.D.

    Head of Data Science

    Max Malacari is the Head of Data Science & AI for Coro at Bain & Company. He leads the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions, empowering B2B go-to-market organizations with advanced analytics and predictive modeling.

    Since joining Bain, Max has worked across the firm’s generalist consulting track, later transitioning into the Advanced Analytics Group, and now Coro, where he has focused on AI and data science innovation. Over his career at Bain, he has worked across a broad range of capabilities, including private equity, operating model redesign, and results delivery, with a deep focus on commercial excellence in recent years.

    Max spearheaded the development of Coro’s propensity to buy offering, along with a suite of at-scale AI-driven data validation, cleaning, enrichment, and matching tools, enabling clients to make data-backed go-to-market decisions. He has worked across a broad range of industries and has led multidisciplinary teams of data scientists, data engineers, consultants, and offshore data analysts to deliver scalable AI solutions.

    Prior to Bain, Max was an Associate Fellow at the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics at the University of Chicago. He holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of Adelaide.

    Head of Marketing & Partnerships

    Regan Hamilton is a strategic marketing leader with extensive experience in developing and executing holistic digital marketing strategies for B2B organizations. As the head of Marketing & Partnerships, based in Boston, she oversees marketing and partnership initiatives for Coro, playing a pivotal role in driving substantial growth and enhancing brand presence. Regan also leads marketing activities for Bain’s Commercial Excellence capability, working closely with senior stakeholders to amplify commercial productivity and market recognition.

    Before joining Bain, Regan served as a Senior Digital and Web Strategist at Integrate, where she led global digital media initiatives, experimentation plans, and digital user experience optimization. She successfully managed international teams and spearheaded significant digital transformation projects, including website migrations and global event productions.

    Earlier in her career at Wordstream, Regan effectively managed extensive digital advertising campaigns, consistently delivering meaningful improvements in conversion performance and campaign efficiency for clients.

    Regan holds a Master’s degree in Global Marketing Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a minor in Business from Boston University.

    Head of Product

    Jarrett Johnson is the Head of Product for our Coro business unit and a member of Bain’s Commercial Excellence practice. Based in London, he leads the global product team, including product management, product design, agile delivery, and business intelligence, ensuring that Coro’s SaaS platform continuously evolves to help B2B organizations optimize and accelerate their go-to-market strategies.

    With a focus on continuous discovery, he drives a data-informed approach to product development—leveraging insights, experimentation, and iterative design to deliver a seamless digital experience that aligns with customer challenges and business objectives. He partners closely with customers and client-facing teams to refine product strategy, enhance user experience, and scale innovative solutions that drive measurable impact.

    In addition to his role in Coro leadership, he is also part of the leadership team for the Product Management Guild within Bain’s Technology Solutions organization, helping to shape best practices and foster a strong product management community across the firm.

    Prior to Bain, he held product leadership roles in enterprise software and data analytics, with experience spanning SaaS platforms, business intelligence tools, and digital transformation initiatives. He was previously at Morningstar, where he led global product teams in developing end-to-end software solutions for financial services and energy sector clients.

    He holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.

    Hari Gutta is the Head of Engineering for Coro, a business unit of Bain & Company, based in Houston. In this role, he leads the engineering organization responsible for building and scaling Coro’s SaaS platform, enabling B2B organizations to optimize and accelerate their go-to-market strategies. Hari actively collaborates with business and product teams to drive Coro’s technical vision, deliver innovative digital solutions, and ensure engineering efforts align closely with strategic growth objectives. He is instrumental in enhancing technical capabilities, fostering an agile development culture, and elevating software quality standards across the team.

    Hari brings extensive industry experience spanning software and data architecture, analytics platforms, and technology-driven business solutions. Before joining Bain, he served as Principal Software Architect at Strata Decision Technology, a leading provider of healthcare financial analytics, where he architected innovative data-driven platforms to improve cost efficiency and patient care quality.

    Hari is passionate about mentoring engineering talent, building high-performing teams, and advocating best practices in software engineering. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
